Topic: INTERIM CFOLDERS PASSWORD RESET PROCESS
Interim cFolders Password Reset Process (DIBBS/cFolders Helpdesk)

The DLA Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) is diligently working through our ticket backlog and we are implementing process improvements to support call volume demands and decrease live agent hold times. We recognize the impact that these hold times currently have on our cFolders customers who require password resets, and we are offering a temporary process change to make it easier for them to get support.

What you need to know:
Effective immediately, cFolders users can send an email to the DLA J6 cFolders Reset (dlaj6cfoldersreset@dla.mil) mailbox to request a cFolders password reset. The email must contain the following information:
- Name
- Phone Number
- E-mail Address
- CAGE and User ID

- This temporary process change is for cFolders password resets only and we anticipate it being in place until May 31, 2021. - DLA ESD’s intent is to reduce our ticket backlog and decrease live agent hold times so that cFolders customers can resume normal contact with Amelia Voice and connect with an ESD Tier 1 Live Agent for password support after May 31.

Weapon System integration, Phase 2, has been deployed to production. Our members now have the ability to find all associated NSNs for a specific weapon system in order to review the histories and product information. Additionally, our members can also identify all the solicitations provided though their saved searches by filtering the results. All this data can be exported or sent to batch to facilitate the analysis of the underlying data.

Weapon System information is now part of you NSN and Bid Reports. Additionally, forecast information has been enhanced to include On Hand Qty, Back Order Qty, Annual Demand Qty as well as Production and Administrative Leads Times where available. More tools will be deployed soon.

Topic: ENHANCED JOINT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM PROCEDURES (source: DIBBS)
DLA is enhancing its Joint Certification Program (JCP) registration and validation procedures. Selected National Stock Numbers (NSNs) will require additional permissions to access the associated technical data. In the event a vendor cannot access the technical data for an NSN in DLA cFolders and they have not completed the new required training and questionnaire, the vendor must submit a onetime request to jcpvalidation@dla.mil for technical data access consideration. If a vendor has completed the new required training and questionnaire, status inquiries are to be directed to DLAJ344DataCustodian@dla.mil.

DLA processes the vendor's technical data request on a first come, first served basis. Failure to comply timely with required information may result in lack of consideration for DLA solicitations. It is vitally important that vendors provide correct company official name(s) and contact information in all correspondence. DLA will work diligently on validating vendor requests. Vendors will be notified within 3 business days of when their requests were approved. However, DLA cannot guarantee that it can complete all validation requests by the due date for any solicitation responses.

The DLA provides On Hand Qty, Back Order Qty, and Annual Demand Qty on 161,850 NSNs. This data is now part of you Bid and NSN reports and can be found in the forecast section. Thank you for being a valuable part of our community.

Starting at 1700 hours on Friday April 21, 2017, DIBBS will be taken down for maintenance. This will last the entire weekend. It will be fully operational no later than 0600 on Monday, April 24, 2017. During this process, DIBBS will be available off and on during the day on Sunday, April 23rd. However, we cannot guarantee that any quotes submitted during this time will be received into our system, even when getting a successfully submitted response on DIBBS. It is recommended that quotes not be submitted during this time of availability on Sunday, April 23rd. If you do submit quotes during this time, then please confirm that those quotes show as submitted after 0600 on Monday, April 24th. Govgistics deploys feature enhancements to three tools available to our members. Global Search, BSM Expired Search and Historical Solicitations search were modified for the inclusion of searching and finding by CAGE Code.

Global Search enables searching and finding any open DoD solicitation without the use of saved searches, BSM Expired search which is a mechanism to search for all BSM solicitations past the expiration but still available to bid and Historical Solicitations search which facilitates finding and researching ALL historical DoD solicitations. These features were deployed over the last few months and were just enhanced to include searching by company or CAGE code. Simply Input a CAGE Code value and quickly see what's available for bid or what was historically sought that matches products associated with that company.

Govgistics is pleased to announce the enhancement of the Navy AEL/APL information available to our members. Last summer we enhanced our reporting to include the National Stock Number's ship application in our NSN and Bid reports. We continued to build on this enhancement and deployed a full Navy AEL database module and today we enhanced the NSN and Bid reports to include the AEL part application. The reporting enhancements are available now to Govgistics members and are included in the membership. Today we experienced some technical issues with our connectivity due to events at our provider. These issues started at around 230PM. As of now they are resolved. Unfortunately this also affected the data load time on the new Contract Bidding grid. As a result. we decided before to roll back the UI enhancements rolled out on 5/4/2016. When we confirm that these issues are worked out we will revisit and implement the upgarde again. I understand this is might be somewhat of an inconvenience but this was the right thing to do.

Govgistics has deployed some new features as well as feature enhancements. These include upgraded Help Center pages with how to video tutorials and a video library found under the 'Support' menu. After posting over 9200 solicitations on Thursday 7/30/2015, the DLA through its Internet Bid Board System, or DIBBS, posted over 7300 solicitations on Friday 7/31/2015 not including what was posted by the Army, the Navy and the Air Force. This brings the 2 day total to over 16500 solicitations with an estimated value of over $2 Billion. How many of the over 16500 solicitations did you go through?

DLA NOTICE: 8(a) SOURCES SOUGHT (ONLY): 500+ OPEN 8(a) NSN DRAWING PACKAGES

DLA Land and Maritime (L&M) is searching for qualified 8(a) contractors who are manufacturers or machine shops for their 8(a) Set-Aide Program. DLA L&M procures spare parts, which are identified by NSNs, for the military customer. Open 8(a) NSNs refer to those NSNs that were assigned to 8(a) contractors who have since graduated from the program and are thus no longer eligible to provide those NSNs.

In case you weren't aware, WebFLIS, which is the website for NSN (National Stock Number) information hosted and managed by the DLA, is being sunset on Monday June 15, 2015 according to http://www.dlis.dla.mil/webflis/ChangeNotice.asp.

WebFLIS has been the site where the general public can access important NSN information such as NSN Identification, MCRL, ML-C, MOE, Freight and Technical Characteristics. Due to this change in policy, the notice states:

...Current WebFLIS users will need to register for new WebFLIS account/roles through the Access Management and Provisioning System (AMPS). The updated version of WebFLIS will only be accessible by controlled access such as Common Access Card (CAC) or External Certificate Authority (ECA)...
